Open house and enrollment day set for July 10 in Andover

ANDOVER, Kan. – Butler Community College will host an open house and enrollment day,  GrizzlyGo!, July 10 from 10 am to 3 pm at Butler of Andover, 715 E 13th St. The public is invited to explore the recently renovated Construction Technology/Manufacturing Engineering building and the main 5000 building.  Attendees will also be able to apply, enroll, take placement tests, tour the facilities, learn about the Kansas Promise scholarship, and more!  Different academic programs will have booths with information and demonstrations. Free hotdogs and snow cones will be served from 11 am to 1 pm.  GrizzlyGo! is free and an opportunity for current students, prospective students and parents, as well as members of the community to learn more about what Butler has to offer.

Professor Cram

Professor Lawrence Cram is a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University working in the Department of Applied Mathematics. His interests include astronomy, mathematics, engineering, computing, and physics. Due to his extensive expertise, professor Cram has worked as a Professor of Physics at the University of Sydney and as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at ANU during 2004-2012. In 2013, he retired as a Master, University House and Graduate House. In January 2014, he was appointed as an acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Charles Darwin University.
