Huawei is now carrying out its 2021 recruitment exercise for iInternational Students in South Africa & Kenya.

Eligible Field(s): Majoring in Computer Science, Software, Telecommunications, Electronics, Engineering and related discipliners including Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Management etc.

Eligibility: In this round of recruitment we are looking for anyone who will graduate/has graduated in 2019 or 2020. Any international student in China who graduates in 2019 or 2020 is welcome to apply.

South Africa

Professional Knowledge Requirement:
Business Requirements:
1. Have strong learning capabilities. Be able to quickly master the service processes related to Huawei digital delivery and apply them to design and development.
2. Be able to independently complete the design and development of small or medium sized software architecture, quickly locate technical problems, and provide solutions.
3. Be able to communicate with technical teams about the solution and promote the implementation of the solution.
Important: To be considered for this role, applicants must be either South African Citizens, or are eligible to live and work in South Africa.

Kenya

Professional Knowledge Requirement:

1. Have a proficient command of a mainstream development language (Python / JAVA/ C# is preferred)
2. Have the experience of common database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL, and have experience in developing SQL statements.
3. Have an in-depth understanding of various open source frameworks.
4. Have a good understanding and design of common frameworks and modules.
5. Qualification in Telecommunication/IT/Computer Science/Elecrical & Electronics Engineering/Finance/Accounting related courses

Professor Cram

Professor Lawrence Cram is a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University working in the Department of Applied Mathematics. His interests include astronomy, mathematics, engineering, computing, and physics. Due to his extensive expertise, professor Cram has worked as a Professor of Physics at the University of Sydney and as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at ANU during 2004-2012. In 2013, he retired as a Master, University House and Graduate House. In January 2014, he was appointed as an acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Charles Darwin University.
